Perimeter security technology evalation
Kerran, Joe, Brad and Steve have undertaken evaluation of perimeter security technology for various Government, Corporate and Institutional clients in Australia, Canada, South Africa and Malaysia.
The technologies employed have been evaluated in simulated and actual perimeter solutions, usually as part of an integrated physical solution supported by comprehensive CCTV.
The evaluations have included varying technologies with the largest evaluation comparing 8 separate technologies for use in a high security facility. This project was undertaken over a ten month period to evaluate the response of the considered technologies to both summer and winter conditions, and the local environment to assess all nuisance and false alarm rates, and then followed by the agreed defeat trials.
The outcomes from the defeat trials were used to determine the technology preferences for a variety of Institutions of varying risk, physical and meteorological environments.
